BBC unveil first official Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman picture

The BBC have released the first official image of Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman on the set of Doctor Who.

Smith is seen waring a long coat, waist coat and a new bow tie.

The actor commented on his new co-star: ‘It [filming on the new series] is going well. Jenna brings a really different energy to the show – one which I think is very interesting.’

Coleman took part in her second read-through in Cardiff earlier this week at the BBC’s Roath Lock Studios.

The image can be downloaded as a desktop wallpaper in 16x9 and 4x3.

Two new photographs of the duo will be unveiled next week.
