Doctor Who: Good as Gold - 'Script to Screen' mini-episode

A special Doctor Who mini-episode was shown during Blue Peter earlier today.

The three-minute scene was written by three pupils from Ashdene Primary School, who were the winners of the Script to Screen competition.

Script to Screen was launched earlier this year and offered the chance for one school to pen a short episode which would be produced by the Doctor Who cast and crew in Cardiff.

The Olympic-themed story, Good as Gold, features Matt Smith as the Doctor, Karen Gillan as Amy, a Weeping Angel plus a new human character.
