Picture: Matt Smith and Karen Gillan with 1960s Dalek

Steven Moffat has posted a picture on Twitter of Matt Smith and Karen Gillan posing with a 1960s Dalek.

The writer released the picture along with a Tweet which read: "Proud winner with some fans."

Moffat is referring to an earlier message in which he revealed: "After extensive deliberation, THE DOCTOR HAS SPOKEN. Matt Smith likes the sixties Dalek best."

The Daleks will appear in episode one of Doctor Who series seven. The episode is currently in production in Cardiff and is rumored to include every Dalek design from the past 49 years.
