David Gyasi joins Doctor Who cast

According to a report by the Evening Standard, David Gyasi will appear in the next series of Doctor Who.

He is rumored to be guest starring in episode one of this year's series which is written by Steven Moffat and features the Daleks.

The actor's previous TV credits include Law & Order: UK, Holby City, The Bill, Waking the Dead, Silent Witness and he currently has a role in BBC Two's White Heat.

Gyasi also made a brief appearance as a hospital patient in Noel Clarke's 2006 Torchwood episode Combat.
