Doctor Who behind-the-scenes online videos

At the official Doctor Who Convention in Cardiff, producer Caroline Skinner revealed that the BBC website will contain a range of extra content to accompany the new series.

The material will include behind-the-scenes footage and video diaries posted on the website during production of the series along with the technical content.

Doctor Who Confidential was the main outlet of behind-the-scenes Doctor Who action, however BBC Three controller Zai Bennett cancelled the show in 2011. Despite various campaigns to resurrect the programme, the channel stood by their decision.

Skinner also said that a special song to mark the departure of Amy and Rory will be recorded.
