Doctor Who & The Sarah Jane Adventures - BAFTA Cymru nominations 2011
Doctor Who has earned itself several nominations in this year's BAFTA Cymru awards, along with the spin-off series The Sarah Jane Adventures, which has gained one nomination.
2010's Doctor Who at the Proms, produced by Paul Bullock, is nominated in the Music and Entertainment Programme category, and is competing with Young Musician 2010 and Llangollen 2010: Uchafbwyntiau Dydd Mercher.
The Sarah Jane Adventures story "Death of the Doctor", produced by Brian Minchin, is up for the Children's Programme award. An episode of My Life and an episode of pre-school documentary series Y Diwrnod Mawr are also in the running for the prize.
The Editing: Fiction category sees William Oswald nominated for his work on last year's Doctor Who episode "The Time of Angels". Episodes of Pen Talar and The Indian Doctor are up for the award.
Tim Ricketts' work on "A Christmas Carol" has received a nomination in the Sound category, and is competing with Sherlock and talent show Cyngerdd Mawr Talent Cymru for the BAFTA.
Barbara Southcott's work on The Vampires of Venice is recognised in Make Up and Hair category. The story is nominated alongside episodes of Pen Talar and Sherlock.
The Eleventh Hour's lighting, created by Mark Hutchingson, is up for the Lighting BAFTA, alongside BBC Young Musician 2010 and Only Men Aloud.
The winners will be announced at the Wales Millennium Centre on Sunday 29th May.
