Jimmy Vee returns to Doctor Who
Jimmy Vee has stated in an interview that he will be returning to Doctor Who later this year.
The actor, whose previous Doctor Who credits include the Moxx of Balhoon, Graske and Bannakaffalatta, said that he will make a return to the programme - but details of who or what he’s playing are top secret.
One of Jimmy's most notable appearances was as Bannakaffalatta in the 2007 Doctor Who Christmas Special alongside David Tennant and Kylie Minogue: “It was absolutely fabulous that one. Kylie was great – fantastic to work with. She could take a laugh and a joke like everybody else. She’s down to earth. And David Tennant’s a brilliant guy.”
Vee's last Whoniverse appearance was in October 2010 as a Groske in The Sarah Jane Adventures story 'Death of the Doctor' alongside Matt Smith.
Doctor Who Series 6 will be broadcast on BBC One in the Spring.
