Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol
The title of this year's highly-anticipated Doctor Who Christmas Special has been revealed on the BBC website.
"A Christmas Carol" is written by Steven Moffat and includes guest appearances from Welsh Opera singer Katherine Jenkins and Harry Potter actor Michael Gambon, who plays a "Scrooge-like miser."
A preview of the episode, which sees the return of regulars Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill as The Doctor, Amy and Rory respectively, will be shown during the Children in Need telethon on BBC One next Friday.
The special is expected to be broadcast on Christmas Day.
