Graham Norton cartoon incident - BBC Apology (UPDATED)

The BBC have today issued an apology following last night's ridiculous Graham Norton/Over The Rainbow cartoon which interrupted the climax of Doctor Who: The Time of Angels. Thousands of fans (Including myself) have contacted the corporation about the incident.

TV critic Charlie Brooker said on Twitter: "Why don't the BBC just wipe **** all over the screen during the final scene of Dr. Who next week?"

Simon Pegg said: "Congrats to the BBC for ruining the climax to Doctor Who with a cartoon Graham Norton telling about another f**king talent show."

Earlier today, a BBC spokesperson said: "We apologise for the timing of Saturday night's trail."

Norton previously interrupted the show when his voice was heard over the opening moments of the 2005's Rose.
