Doctor Who: The Time of Angels - Overnight Ratings

Unofficial, overnight viewing figures indicate that Doctor Who: The Time of Angels was watched by 6.5 million viewers on BBC One, with an additional 0.3 million watching on the BBC HD channel giving the episode a total viewing figure of 6.8 million. The total audience share was 36.7%.

Doctor Who was the the most-watched programme of the day for BBC One, and the second most-watched overall, only beaten by Britain's Got Talent which was shown on ITV1 at 8.00pm.

The episode is currently the 12th most-watched programme of the week; this is very likely to rise when official figures are published by BARB in around 10 days.
