Doctor Who: Mara Tales tops UK DVD chart
The release of the Doctor Who DVD box set 'Mara Tales' has topped the 'UK TV on Video' chart, according to the Official UK Charts Company.
The release, which contains the classic stories "Kinda" and "Snakedance", went straight to the top of the charts after its release last Monday, selling more copies than ITV1's 'Marchlands' and BBC One's 'Lark Rise to Candleford'.
This news comes nearly a month after the DVD release of 1966 Doctor Who story 'The Ark' topped the chart.
The 'Mara Tales' stories feature Peter Davison as the Doctor, Sarah Sutton as Nyssa, Matthew Waterhouse as Adric and Janet Fielding as Tegan.
