Children in Need 2012 to feature Doctor Who Christmas Special prequel and trailer

A prequel and trailer from this year's highly-anticipated Doctor Who Christmas Special will be shown during the annual Children in Need telethon next month.

The world exclusive clips are from the Steven Moffat-scripted special which features Matt Smith, Jenna-Louise Coleman and Richard E Grant.

Doctor Who, featuring Matt Smith, will also bring viewers an extra special 'prequel' to its Christmas special, with a bespoke storyline made for Children in Need, and an exclusive preview trailer of the Christmas special including the first glimpse of the Doctor with his new companion.
