The Sarah Jane Adventures, Steven Moffat nominated for Royal Television Society awards
The shortlist for the annual Royal Television Society awards have been unveiled, with Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures among the nominees.
The Sarah Jane Adventures is up against Tracy Beaker in the Children's Drama category. The Doctor Who spin-off, which ended last year following the death of Elisabeth Sladen, has been nominated several times before, and won the award in 2011.
Steven Moffat has been nominated in the Writer - Drama category for his work on the sixth series of Doctor Who. Moffat is competing with Peter Bowker (Eric & Ernie) and Neil McKay (Appropriate Adult).
The awards will be announced at a ceremony on 20th March 2012.
