Matt Smith wins Spike TV Scream award

Matt Smith has been awarded the best sci-fi actor prize at this year's Spike TV Scream Awards.

Smith saw off competition from Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Harrison Ford and Jake Gyllenhaal to the award which he described as "wonderful".

The awards honour horror, science fiction and fantasy in films, TV and comic books.
