Doctor Who Magazine: Issue 440

The cover for the 440th issue of Doctor Who Magazine has been posted on Twitter.

This month's edition remembers Elisabeth Sladen, who played Sarah Jane Smith in Doctor Who and sadly passed away earlier this year following a battle with cancer.

The 100-page issue celebrates the life and work of the much-loved actress, including contributions from Tom Baker, David Tennant, Matt Smith and many more.

There are features on The Sarah Jane Adventures, The Hand of Fear and the coundown to Doctor Who's 50th anniversary continues with a look at Elisabeth Sladen's first series of the show.

In addition, there is news on this year's Doctor Who Christmas special, along with all the regular features including news, reviews and the Time Team.

Issue 400 will be published on Thursday 20th October at the price of £4.99.
