Doctor Who: A Good Man Goes To War

The sixth series of Doctor Who comes to its mid-series climax in the UK and Canada tonight, with the seventh episode, "A Good Man Goes To War" by Steven Moffat.

BBC synopsis
Amy Pond has been kidnapped and the Doctor is raising an army to rescue her as the drama continues. But as he and Rory race across galaxies, calling in long-held debts and solemnly given promises, his enemies are laying a carefully concealed trap.

In her cell in Stormcage, River Song sadly acknowledges that the time has come at last – today will mark the Battle of Demons Run and the Doctor's darkest hour. Both sides will make their sacrifices and River Song must finally reveal her most closely guarded secret to the Doctor.

Amy is played by Karen Gillan, the Doctor by Matt Smith, Rory by Arthur Darvill and River Song by Alex Kingston.

Doctor Who: A Good Man Goes To War will air on BBC One/HD in the UK at 6.40pm and SPACE will air the episode in Canada at 8.00pm.

Doctor Who Confidential will have behind-the-scenes coverage of the episode at 7.30pm on BBC Three.

The story will be shown in the USA on BBC America next Saturday at 8.00pm.

Doctor Who will return for a further six episodes in the Autumn.

The episode is not airing in Canada. We're tied to the US broadcasts, so we're only getting The Almost People this week. I just checked the TV listings in hope Space might air the two episodes together, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

The Doctor...
