New Doctor Who game coming in 2012

The BBC have hinted that a new Doctor Who game is being planned for 2012. BBC Worldwide's EVP for digital entertainment Robert Nashak said that it has "big news" planned for next year.

"Teaser? There's big news for 2012 that we can't talk about just yet. Watch this space!" he added.

A BBC spokesperson told Digital Spy that the "yet-to-be-announced project", is nothing to do with the Doctor Who: Worlds in Time MMO.

Nashak also commented that further details for "Worlds in Time" will be revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con in July.

The BBC have previously released the free dowloadable "Adventure Games", the iOS "Mazes of Time" and games for Nintendo Wii and DS.

Due to their success in 2010, the corporation have commissioned a second series of "The Adventure Games".
