BBC commission new Torchwood audio dramas

According to the BBC's Drama Newsletter, three new full-cast Torchwood audio dramas have been commissioned by BBC Radio 4 and are currently in production.

The newsletter states: "A new three-part series of Torchwood is in production in LA next week featuring TV cast members and will be heard later in the summer."

The first Torchwood audio adventure was aired in 2008, and was followed by a further three in 2009.

Filming on the ten-part TV series Torchwood: Miracle Day is due to conclude later this month, and will be broadcast in July.
