Tom MacRae returns to write Doctor Who
Tom MacRae has scripted an episode for the next series of Doctor Who, it has emerged.
The latest edition of Doctor Who Magazine reveals that MacRae, who has previously written for the programme, has penned Episode 10 of Matt Smith's second series.
The writer scripted the 2006 two-parter 'Rise of the Cybermen' and 'The Age of Steel', which saw the 21st Century debut of the Cybermen.
He was commissioned to write an episode in 2008 titled 'Century House', however this script was abandoned as executive producer Russell T Davies felt that the plot was too similar to that of 'The Unicorn and the Wasp'.
Episode 10 has already been shot and will be broadcast on BBC One later this year.
