Doctor Who to return at Easter

This month's issue of Doctor Who Magazine revealed that the sixth series of the programme is scheduled to start over the Easter weekend.

The magazine says that Doctor Who series six is due make its debut on BBC One/BBC One HD on 23rd/24th April, however the exact transmission details have not been confirmed.

It is rumored that first half of the opening two-parter will be broadcast on the Saturday, with the concluding second part being transmitted on the Sunday.

The first half of the series (episodes 1-7) will begin transmitting from April, before the series returns for the remaining six installments (episodes 8-13) in September.

Doctor Who Magazine 432 is on sale from tomorrow.
