Doctor Who: The Reign of Terror & Vengeance on Varos coming to DVD

2|entertain has confirmed the titles of two classic Doctor Who stories that will be released on DVD next year.

1964's 'Reign of Terror', starring William Hartnell as The Doctor, has been commissioned for release in 2012.

Two episodes of the six-part story are missing, although the @ClassicDW Twitter account revealed it will be reconstructed for DVD: ".. REIGN OF TERROR! To be released as complete as can realistically be achieved. Likely late 2012."

'Vengeance on Varos', starring Colin Baker in the lead role, will be re-released on DVD, Doctor Who Online have exclusively announced.

The story was first released in the early years of the Doctor Who DVD range, and lacked any extra content. In 2012, a special edition will be part of the Revisitations box set which will contain a wealth of extra material.
