BBC confirms James Corden's return to Doctor Who
The BBC have confirmed that James Corden will be returning to Doctor Who later this year.
The Gavin and Stacey actor appeared as Craig Owens in last year's episode 'The Lodger'.
Following his stint on Doctor Who in 2010, Corden said: 'There's been no talk of my return. I'd love another adventure - it would be great! I'm sort of disappointed I didn't get to go in the TARDIS...'
Corden is expected to make a guest appearance in Episode 12 of the next series, which is penned by Gareth Roberts. Filming will reportedly begin next week.
The first half of this year's series (episodes 1-7) will be broadcast on BBC One in the Spring. The programme will return for a second installment (episodes 8-13) in the Autumn.
