Production begins on Torchwood: Miracle Day

Filming on the fourth series of Torchwood "Miracle Day" has begun in America, the production office's official Twitter feed has confirmed.

Production begins: "Day 1. First shot 8:01am. Coffee pots are bottomless today."

Executive producers Russell T Davies and Julie Gardner are on set: "Russell and Julie are here today to oversee filming and attend concept meetings for EP 2 & 3. We LOVE them!"

Filming wraps on the first day of production: "Day 1, smooth sailing, we're so lucky to have such a great crew."

Barrowman is back on the second day of shooting: "The moment we've all been waiting for... John Barrowman is en route."
