25% of cuts to the BBC Online were announced yesterday, and this left Doctor Who fans wondering about the future of the official BBC Doctor Who website.

Doctor Who Online contacted the BBC Online publicity team, who issued a statement in response saying that there will be no cuts to the site.

They clearly stated that The BBC Doctor Who site will not close and they will continue to deliver content to the website's large audience.
