Alexa Havins and Dichen Lachman join Torchwood: The New World

Alexa Havins are Dichen Lachman are reportedly set to join the cast of Torchwood: The New World.

TV Line claim that Havins, who is best known for her work on 'All My Children' will join the Torchwood team as Esther Katusi, a CIA Watch Analyst who possesses an unshakable faith in human nature and a monster crush on colleague Rex.

Meanwhile Lachman, who recently starred in 'Dollhouse', will guest star in the first episode as a CIA agent.

Production on the ten-part series is due to begin on Tuesday. Den of Geek claim that it will debut in the UK and USA in 1st July.
