Torchwood: The New World - Casting Rumors
Entertainment Weekly claim that three leading US actors are up for leading roles in the next series of Torchwood, which is subtitled 'The New World'.
Chad Michael Murray and Enver Gjokaj, best known for their roles in 'One Tree Hill' and 'Dollhouse' respectively, are reportedly both in the running to play CSI agent Rex Matherson, who is described as "a charming golden boy in his late 20s - a fast-tracked high-flyer".
Amber Stevens, who starred in the TV series 'Greek', might be playing CIA analyst Esther Katusi, "an optimist in her early 20s, and has a strong faith in mankind, supported by her Christianity".
Torchwood: The New World will be broadcast on BBC One and Starz in Summer 2011.
