Jo Grant returns...

Katy Manning made her first appearance as Jo Grant alongside Jon Pertwee on 2nd January 1971 in the story 'Terror of the Autons', as the Doctor's new assistant.


2 years later, in the final part of the six-part story 'The Green Death', broadcast on 23rd June 1973, saw Jo leave the Doctor to travel to the Amazon with Professor Clifford Jones, whom she later married.


... 37 years later, Jo Grant returns in The Sarah Jane Adventures, alongside Matt Smith as the Doctor and Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane.
