Doctor Who: The Seeds of Death - Revisitations 2

2|entertain, who produce the Doctor Who DVD releases, have confirmed that the 1969 story 'The Seeds of Death' will be re-released as part of the second 'Revisitations' box set.

Dan Hall, commissioning editor for the company, announced the news in an interview with Radio Free Skaro.

The six-part story stars Patrick Troughton as The Doctor, Wendy Padbury as Zoe and Frazer Hines as Jamie.

The box set will contain two other classic stories - 'Carnival of Monsters' and 'Resurrection of the Daleks', starring John Pertwee and Peter Davison respectively - as well as range of new special features. David Tennant will present a documentary for the 1984 story 'Resurrection of the Daleks'.

The box set is expected to be released in mid-2011. The first volume of the 'Revisitations' series is on sale now.
