Doctor Who 2010 Christmas Special - BBC Children in Need

A clip from this year's highly-anticipated Doctor Who Christmas Special will be shown during the annual Children in Need telethon, it has been announced.

The Special, which is expected to be broadcast on Christmas Day, features Matt Smith as The Doctor, Karen Gillan as Amy and Arthur Darvill as Rory, along with guest stars Sir Michael Gambon and Katherine Jenkins.

Last year's preview of 'The End of Time' was highly-successful, with nearly 12 million viewers tuning in for the clip, making it the highlight of the night.

Doctor Who and Torchwood actor John Barrowman sadly won't be singing and dancing in his pants this year, but will however be presenting from the SECC in Glasgow.

The live show will be presented by Sir Terry Wogan and Tess Daly on 19th November, 7.00pm, BBC One.
