The Sarah Jane Adventures to return on October 11

The BBC have released a promotional image for the new series of The Sarah Jane Adventures, which will be broadcast on BBC One/CBBC next month.

The image features the returning regular characters in the form of Sarah Jane (Elisabeth Sladen), Luke Smith (Thomas Knight), Clyde Langer (Daniel Anthony) and Rani Chandra (Anjili Mohindra). A whole host of monsters are ready to terrorise the gang, these include: Androvax, Shansheeth, Dark Hoard and the Graske.

It has been confirmed that the first episode of the series - 'The Nightmare Man' (Part One) by Joseph Lidster - will be aired on Monday 11 October.
