Doctor Who - National Television Awards 2011

Doctor Who has earned three nominations in the 2011 National Television Awards longlist.

The show itself is nominated in the 'Best Drama' category, along with 33 other programmes, including Steven Moffat's contemporary version of 'Sherlock'.

Matt Smith and Karen Gillan are going head-to-head for the 'Best Drama Performance' award, for their roles as The Doctor and Amy Pond.

Since Doctor Who returned in 2005, it has gained a total of 11 National Television Awards, including 'Best Drama'.

You can cast your votes online HERE. Voting closes on 11th October 2010, the shortlisted nominees will be announced at a later date.

The awards will be held at the O2 Arena in London on 26th January 2011.
