Danny Horn on Christmas 2010
Actor Danny Horn, who will be appearing in this year's Doctor Who Christmas Special, has recently spoken to the Yorkshire Evening Post about his experience working on the show, and reveals how he was cast in Steven Moffat-penned episode.
"It's been like a bizarre dream.
"I finished (at London's] Central School of Speech and Drama on the Friday, had the audition on the Monday and by Thursday I was filming.
"I was very excited about the audition but didn't think I'd get it.
"I'm a big fan of the show and hopefully it won't lead to any arguments about what to watch on Christmas Day."
The episode, due to be broadcast on Christmas Day, guest stars Sir Michael Gambon and Katherine Jenkins, along with the return of regulars Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill.
