Doctor Who: Flesh and Stone - Overnight Ratings

Unofficial, overnight viewing figures indicate that Doctor Who: Flesh and Stone was watched by 6.53 million viewers on BBC One, with an additional 0.34 million watching on the BBC HD channel giving the episode a total rating of 6.9 million viewers with a share of 34.5%.

Doctor Who was the the most-watched programme of the day for BBC One, and the second most-watched overall; only beaten by Britain's Got Talent which was shown on ITV1 at 8.00pm.

Official figures, which are usually much higher, will be published by BARB next week.
