Doctor Who: Cold Blood - Overnight Ratings

Unofficial, overnight viewing figures indicate that Doctor Who: Cold Blood was watched by a total of 5.7 million viewers with a share of 27.2%.

Over on ITV1, Doctor Who's main competition, The Whole 19 Yards, was watched by 4.6 million.

Doctor Who was the second most-watched programme of the day for BBC One, and the third most-watched overall; only just beaten by Britain's Got Talent and The Eurovision Song Contest which were shown later on their respective channels.

Official figures - which are usually much higher - will be published by BARB next week.
