Doctor Who: Victory of the Daleks - Ratings

Unofficial, overnight viewing figures indicate that Doctor Who: Victory of the Daleks was watched by 6.2 million viewers (32.7%) on BBC One, with an additional 231,000 watching on the BBC HD channel at 8.25pm.

This figure currently makes Doctor Who the 2nd most watched programme of the day, only beaten by Britain's Got Talent, which was shown at 8.00pm.

Official figures, which are likely to be much higher, will be published by BARB next week.
