Doctor Who: The Eleventh Hour - Final Ratings

BARB have recently published the consolidated viewing figures for Doctor Who: The Eleventh Hour.

Matt Smith's début episode was watched by 9.59 million viewers on BBC One, with an aditional 494,000 watching on the BBC HD channel giving the episode a total rating of 10.08 million viewers. This figure makes Doctor Who the 3rd most watched programme of the week, only beaten by two episodes of the ITV1 soap Coronation Street.

The Eleventh Hour scored an Appreciation Index of 86, a score over 85 is considered as excellent. The episode was in the BBC iPlayer's top ten for most of last week, with nearly 1 million requests.
