Doctor Who: The End of Time, Part One - Final Ratings

Final viewing figures for Doctor Who: The End of Time, Part One indicate that it was watched by a total of 12.4 million viewers, with BBC One and BBC HD figures combined making it the most watched programme of Christmas Day and the week!

This is the second time in Doctor Who's 46 year history that an episode has been the most watched programme of the week. It was last achieved in 2008 with the Series 4 finale, Journey's End.

Meanwhile, the episode has scored an appreciation index of 87. A score over 85 is considered to be excellent. Read more about the appreciation index here.
