1.3 Million Watch Doctor Who: The End of Time on the BBC iPlayer

The BBC have said that David Tennant's final episodes as the Doctor in Doctor Who: The End of Time received 1.3 million requests on the BBC iPlayer over the festive period. The catch-up service had a total of 17.3 million views from the week beginning 28th December and the BBC have said that Doctor Who was one of the programmes that helped achieve this.

The BBC iPlayer was launched on Christmas Day in 2007 with Voyage of the Damned being the first ever programme to be uploaded.
