Doctor Who: The End of Time, Part One Ratings

Initial figures for Doctor Who: The End of Time, Part One show that it was watched 10.0 million (42.2%) people with an additional 340,000 viewers on BBC HD making it the 3rd most watched programme of Christmas Day.

BBC One soap Eastenders took the top spot with 10.9 million (45.9%) followed by The Royale Family with 10.2 million (42.5%). Catherine Tate: Nan's Christmas Carol (with David Tennant) was the 7th most watched with 7.1 million (31.2%).

Doctor Who Confidential: Lords and Masters had 0.58 million when it was broadcast on BBC Three making it the 4th most watched on all digital channels.

These ratings are likely to rise when they are officially released in two weeks.
