Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars Ratings

Unofficial, overnight figures for Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars, which was broadcast at 7.00pm on BBC One yesterday indicate that the programme was watched by a massive 9.13 million viewers with a 33.9% share of the audience!

A further 310,000 watched the simulcast HD version on the BBC HD channel, making it the most watched programme ever for BBC HD!

Doctor Who Confidential: Is There Life On Mars which was broadcast on BBC Three at 8.00pm gained 590,000, with a additional 100,000 watching on BBC HD.

These figures are expected to rise when final ratings are published in 9 days.
