Doctor Who wins TV Choice award
The 2012 TV Choice awards were held at London's Dorchester Hotel on Monday, with Doctor Who picking up one award.
Steven Moffat took to the stage to collect Best Family Drama Award for Doctor Who. Matt Smith and Karen Gillan were not in attendance.
In his acceptance speech, Moffat said that the Doctor is busy saving the world and can't be here tonight but he'll be taking the award back to Cardiff.
Doctor Who has won the award every year since 2005 - with the exception of 2009 because a full series was not produced and the show was not eligible for a nomination.
The awards were voted for by members of the public.
