Doctor Who returns on Saturday 1st September
The highly-anticipated new series of Doctor Who will start Saturday 1st September, it has been confirmed.
Steven Moffat's opening episode, Asylum of the Daleks, will be broadcast at 7.20pm on BBC One. The 50-minute story will go up against Red or Black? on ITV1.
On BBC One, Doctor Who will be preceded by Total Wipeout and followed by The National Lottery.
The official Doctor Who Facebook page also revealed that the episode will be broadcast in the US and Canada on the same day. The story will be shown on BBC America and Space at 9.00pm ET.
