Doctor Who will return with Dinosaurs on a Spaceship, A Town Called Mercy, Cubed
The Doctor Who panel - consisting of Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill, Caroline Skinner and Steven Moffat - took place at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con earlier tonight, with the cast and producers revealing some nuggets of information about the new series.
Moffat revealed that episode two of the series is called "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship". The story is written by Chris Chibnall and some footage was shown during a trailer at the convention.
The following episode has now been named as "A Town Called Mercy." The Western adventure is written by Toby Whithouse and was partly shot in Spain. Fans were treated to an exclusive clip earlier tonight which will hopefully appear on the BBC website soon.
Episode 4, which is also written by Chibnall, carries the title "Cubed" and is the Pond's penultimate Doctor Who story.
Matt Smith also confirmed that Doctor Who will return to BBC One in August. As Let's Kill Hitler was broadcast in the 27th in 2011, it is likely that Steven Moffat's Asylum of the Daleks will be broadcast on Saturday 25th.
