Doctor Who: The Adventure Games nominated for award
The final installment of Doctor Who: The Adventure Games, The Gunpowder Plot, has been nominated for a Broadcast Digital Award.
The story has been included in the nominees for the Best Game prize. The winners will be announced on 20th June 2012 at a ceremony in London.
The game series was cancelled by BBC Worldwide earlier this year, in order for the corporation to focus on other Doctor Who gaming projects including the console game The Eternity Clock.
Doctor Who: The Adventure Games were launched in 2010 and have been huge success with over 2.6 million downloads to date.
The official Doctor Who website will be taking a look back at the adventures, including contributions from Phil Ford who talks about writing the games, their release and impact.
