Doctor Who: The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe - Children in Need trailer

The title of this year's Doctor Who Christmas Special was confirmed as "The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe" last night as part of the annual Children in Need appeal on BBC One.

A world exclusive trailer for the episode was shown, along with a sketch starring Matt Smith who put the Doctor's iconic costume up for auction in aid of the charity.

There hasn't been a Doctor Who Christmas special that has blown me away so far. I'm optimistic about this one however with Bill Bailey and the creepy wood creature it's looking good.
