BBC confirm Doctor Who: The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe transmission details

The BBC have confirmed the transmission details for this year's Steven Moffat-scripted Doctor Who Christmas Special

The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe is scheduled to air in its traditional prime time slot at 7.00pm on Christmas Day on BBC One. It will air against ITV1's All Star Family Fortunes.

Doctor Who will be preceded by The Gruffalo's Child at 6.30pm and followed by a festive episode of Strictly Come Dancing at 8.00pm.

The BBC have also announced that Matt Smith will be a guest on BBC One's The Graham Norton Show on Friday 23rd December at 10.35pm.
