Doctor Who: The Reign of Terror to be animated for DVD
The missing episodes of the 1964 Doctor Who story "The Reign of Terror" will be animated for release on DVD, 2|Entertain have announced.
Episodes four and five of the six-part story, "The Tyrant of France" and "A Bargain of Necessity", no longer exist in the BBC archives, however the soundtrack has survived and will be accompanied with animation for complete DVD release of the story.
The Classic Doctor Who Twitter feed have posted an early test graphic for the missing episodes' recreation (pictured above).
Thetamation, Big Finish along with consultant Mark Ayres will be working with 2|Entertain on the story.
