The Sarah Adventures wins RTS award
The Sarah Jane Adventures has picked up an award at this year's Royal Television Society Programme Awards.
The Doctor Who spin-off won the 'Children's Drama' award, beating fellow CBBC series "Tracy Beaker Returns".
RTS commented: “The winner was emotional and incredibly engaging – a wonderful drama that stands on its own as a terrific piece of storytelling. The cultural diversity of the cast, its high production values and creative storyline made it a joy to watch and kept you intrigued.”
The series was nominated in 2009, but lost out to CBBC's 'Roy'.
