Neil Gaiman's Doctor Who episode title revealed
The title of Neil Gaiman's upcoming Doctor Who episode has been revealed by SFX.
The story, which will be broadcast as Episode Four of Series 6, has been named as “The Doctor’s Wife”.
The revelation has led to much internet speculation about the episode, mainly surrounding the character that Suranne Jones will be playing.
Jones has been cast as a character called "Idris" in the episode. Writer Neil Gaiman recently said that Idris “may be an old friend of the Doctor’s with a new face.”
Doctor Who's producer, Marcus Wilson, recently commented on the story: “It’s an episode that involves quite a big sprawl, huge alien world locations and a new take on a familiar character, which required a lot of work."
The episode will also feature voice over work from acclaimed actor Michael Sheen.
Doctor Who is expected to return to BBC One at Easter.
