BBC announce Doctor Who prequels
The BBC have said that they have produced three Doctor Who prequels which will be released over the course of the new series.
The first prequel introduces the new series' opening two-part story ("The Impossible Astronaut", "Day of the Moon") and stars Stuart Milligan.
The sequence is written by Steven Moffat and gives viewers a taste of what to expect from the story. It also offers the first glimpse of a new monster which Matt Smith describes as "the scariest yet".
The scenes will be shown exclusively on the official Doctor Who website. More details will be announced soon.

Assuming these won't be viewable outside the UK thanks to how the BBC handles the Doctor Who website, I hope they're included on the DVD. The last time they did prequels were the TARDISodes for Series 2 and they never got released on DVD.
